Haute Dolci Leicester is a premium dessert restaurant and venue located at 84–86 Granby Street, Leicester, best known for its Rose Room — an immersive dining experience offered at £30 per person including a main, dessert, and drink. The brand had an existing social media presence but zero paid advertising infrastructure for the Leicester location. Campaigns run historically by the Watford head office were not relevant to the Leicester audience and were not driving local bookings.
The restaurant had no dedicated landing page for the Rose Room experience, no Meta Pixel installed for the Leicester account, and no conversion tracking in place. There was no way to measure whether advertising was generating bookings. The booking system (Dojo) operated as an iframe within the main website, making standard conversion tracking impossible through conventional methods.
The brief was to build a paid social infrastructure from zero for Haute Dolci Leicester and drive bookings for the Rose Room experience. Specific objectives were to generate table booking leads at a sustainable cost, build a dedicated landing page that converted visitors, install proper tracking across Meta and GA4, and produce weekly performance reports in the agency's reporting format.
There was no access to the main Haute Dolci website — all work had to be done independently via a Netlify-hosted landing page while the head office managed the core site separately.
I started with a full audit of the existing account structure. The Leicester account had no active campaigns and no tracking. I installed the Leicester Meta Pixel (992874059804601) and configured GA4 (G-KCWL4W72X1) with custom events tracking every meaningful interaction — page scroll, booking button clicks, and Dojo booking confirmation URLs containing confirmed=true.
I built a dedicated Rose Room landing page from scratch — a dark navy and gold design matching the Haute Dolci brand aesthetic, with price anchoring at £30 per person, a reviews carousel, menu photography section, and a single clear CTA driving users directly to the Dojo booking flow.
The campaign was structured in phases. Phase one used traffic campaigns to identify the highest-performing creative at a very low CPC while building the pixel audience from zero. Food photography — specifically a waffle with chocolate pour — became the confirmed top performer and was scaled. Phase two introduced lead generation campaigns using Meta's native lead form format to capture direct booking intent, producing leads at £2.59–£3.00 per lead.
I ran multiple campaigns simultaneously to let Meta's algorithm split test audiences without interference — Leicester Traffic, Lead Testing, and New Leads campaigns ran in parallel with small budgets, allowing me to identify the top performer before scaling budget. Across the full campaign period including the expanded Rose Room awareness campaign (124,253 reach at £3.00 per 1,000 reached) and all traffic campaigns, total reach exceeded 335,000 accounts.
